The Juan Maclean
DFA club music maestro the Juan MacLean, has been igniting dancefloors worldwide with flashes of post-punk and '70s experimental electronics while grafting bits of early Euro-disco, electro, Detroit techno, and Chicago house. Since the turn of the 21st century, John has turned out some of dance rock's most popular seminal hits from singles that include “By The Time I Get to Venus” in 2002, to the international mega hit “Happy House”. Then there are remixes for colleagues like Air, Chicken Lips, Daft Punk, David Gahan, Matthew Dear; international tours with Cut Copy and Shocking Pinks. Catch a very special dj performance from Maclean this evening in Hamtramck at the Trowbridge Coffee House. The event is brought to you by Proper Modulation.
